PRIVACY NOTICE


This Privacy Notice describes the personal information that Comcast Spectacor, LLC and the following Comcast Spectacor entities: the Maine Mariners, the Philadelphia Flyers, the Philadelphia Wings, the Wells Fargo Center, the Flyers Training Center and Spectacor Events & Entertainment (“Comcast Spectacor”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collect when you interact with us through all of our websites that display or link to this notice, mobile applications, other digital products or offline services (collectively, the “Services”), how we use it, with whom we share it, and your choices in connection with this.


APPLICABILITY OF PRIVACY NOTICE

In this notice, when the term “Comcast Spectacor” is used, it refers to any and all of these entities. This privacy notice does not apply to any content posted by players under their individual online monikers/tags.


COLLECTION AND USE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We collect personal information, which is information that identifies, relates to, describes, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, to you, when you engage with our Services. Specifically, we collect personal information directly from you, automatically as you engage with our websites or mobile applications, and from third-party sources as described below.


  1. Information Collected Directly From You


We collect personal information directly from you when you:

  • Apply for employment. If you apply for employment with Comcast Spectacor, we will collect your personal identifiers (e.g., name, email address, telephone number, and physical address) and your professional or employment-related information (resume, educational history, and employment history). We use this personal information to assess and manage your application and to communicate with you about your application. For more information on how we handle applicant personal information, please see our Applicant Privacy Notice.

  • Attend an event at one of our venues. If you visit one of our venues, video of you will be captured by our CCTV footage. We use this personal information to maintain the security of our venues. In addition, your image, audio and/or video may be captured, publicly displayed and/or broadcast by third parties that have broadcasting, telecasting streaming rights at the events (including the National Hockey League (the “NHL”) and its member clubs, the venue, NHL ENTERPRISES, L.P., NHL ENTERPRISES CANADA, L.P., and each of their respective affiliates) to use for their purposes (including advertising or promotional purposes), and in any media.

  • Create an account with us. If you create a customer account with us, we will collect your personal identifiers (e.g., name, email address, telephone number, and physical address). Once your account is created, we will also store your selected password. We use this personal information to create and manage your account. If you elect to do so within your customer account, we may also use this personal information to facilitate your use of certain functionalities within your account such as submitting a season ticket renewal application, completing an exchange, or ticket transfer. We may supplement the information that we receive from you with other aggregated information that we get from third-party sources to enrich your profile so that we can tailor our marketing communications in accordance with your interests as inferred from your information. If you opt in to receive promotional and account-related text messages to your cellular telephone number, we will use your cellular telephone number to send you automated promotional text messages through an autodialer. Message and data rates may apply. Reply “STOP” to any promotional text message to stop us from sending you future promotional text messages, or “HELP” for further assistance. Message frequency varies. Your agreement to receive promotional text messages is not a condition of any purchase from us.

  • Complete a survey. When you complete a survey, we will collect your personal identifiers (e.g., name and email address). We use this personal information to manage our surveys. If you opt in, we may also use this personal information to send you information on offers and services we feel may be of interest to you. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link at the footer of each email we send you.

  • Contact us. When you send us a question or inquiry, use the chat function if available on our website, or ask for other support, you will need to provide us with personal identifiers (e.g., name and email address). We use this personal information to respond to your questions or inquiries, troubleshoot where necessary, and address any issues you have with the Services.

  • Enter sweepstakes and contests. If you enter into a Comcast Spectacor sweepstakes, contest, or giveaway, we will collect your personal identifiers (e.g., name, email address, physical address, age, and telephone number). We use this personal information to manage your entry, communicate with you about your entry, and to run the sweepstakes, contest, or giveaway. We may also use this personal information to contact you about ticket opportunities at the Wells Fargo Center and to send you information on other offers and services we feel may be of interest to you. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link at the footer of each email we send you.

  • Fill out a sales inquiry. When you email Comcast Spectacor about ticket sales, we will collect your personal identifiers (e.g., name and email address). We use this personal information to respond to your request for additional information on our ticket sales and to send you information on additional offers or services that we feel may be of interest to you.

  • Host an event with us. If you host an event with us at the Wells Fargo Center, we will collect your personal identifiers (e.g., name, email address, and telephone number, credit card information or other payment information). We use this personal information to manage your event with us and to process your payment.

  • Join our "Inside Edge” program. Season ticket members have the option to join our “Inside Edge” program. If you join Inside Edge, we will collect your personal identifiers (e.g., name, email address telephone number, physical address, and date of birth). We use this personal information to enroll you into Inside Edge. Any personal information collected to enroll in Inside Edge will be used to convey enrolled members benefits that Comcast Spectacor may occasionally offer such as gifts, discounts, and other benefits subject to the terms of the Inside Edge program.

  • Join our “Kids Club” program: You may sign up for our “Kids Club” program using an existing account or you can create a new account. If you create a new account we collect from you your identifiers (e.g., name, date of birth, email, address, phone number and password) and, if you choose a paid account, also your payment information. We also collect from you identifiers about your child (e.g., name, date of birth). If you choose a paid account we also collect from you your child’s t-shirt size and shipping address. We use this information to facilitate your membership in the club which includes sending you our newsletter and, if applicable, sending your child the membership kit. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email. You can terminate your club membership by emailing us at [email protected]. After you join, we automatically collect information regarding ticket purchases for events. We use this information in the aggregate to gauge the success of our events and to modify or tailor them accordingly.

  • Participate in a community program. If you participate in one of our community programs, such as Hometown Hero or Community Teammate, we will collect your personal identifiers (e.g., name, telephone number, email address, and physical address) and your professional information (military career information). We use this personal information to manage our community programs and your participation.

  • Purchase a ticket through a ticketing provider. When you purchase tickets to an event at Wells Fargo Center or otherwise hosted by us, our third-party ticketing provider will directly collect your personal information on our behalf. In doing so, they will collect your personal identifiers (e.g., name and email address) and payment card information (e.g., payment card number, expiration date, ZIP code and security code). We will receive the last four digits of your payment card from our third-party ticketing provider and combine this with the account information we already have on file. We use this personal information to facilitate your purchase, communicate with you about your purchase, and to send you marketing communications that we feel may be of interest to you. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link at the footer of each email we send you.

  • Purchase a ticket over the phone. When we call you to discuss existing or future ticket opportunities, we collect from you your personal identifiers (e.g., name, email address, telephone number, and physical address). If you decide to purchase a ticket we also collect from you payment information (e.g., credit card number, CVV, expiration date, ZIP code and security code). We will use this information to effect your purchase, communicate with you about your purchase, contact you about future events or ticket opportunities and send you marketing communications. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in each message.

  • Purchase tickets at the Box Office. When you interact with our Box Office staff, we will collect, from you, your personal identifiers (e.g., name, email address, telephone number, and physical address). If you decide to purchase a ticket we also collect, from you, payment information (e.g., credit card number, CVV, expiration date, and security code). We will use this information to facilitate your purchase, communicate with you about your purchase, contact you about future events or ticket opportunities and send you marketing communications. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in each message.

  • Sign up for our newsletter. If you subscribe to our newsletter for updates, news, and special offers, we will collect your personal identifiers (e.g., name, email address, telephone number, physical address, and date of birth). We use this personal information to send you updates, news, and special offers as requested. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link at the footer of each email we send you. Our emails include a tracking pixel that tracks whether you open the email and whether you click banners in the email and your subsequent clicks and usage of our website. We use this information to send you additional email communications which may be of interest to you based on your interaction with our emails and/or websites. You can avoid downloading the pixel by rejecting the download of images in the email.

  • Interact with us on social media. When you interact with us through social networking websites, we collect basic engagement metrics and use it to tailor content and marketing and use it to improve user experience. Engagement metrics are collected at a campaign or audience level and do not identify or relate to a specific individual or account. Please note that when you post personal information to our social networking websites, it will be viewable by other users of these websites and we cannot prevent further use of the personal information by third parties. For more information about how these websites use and protect your personal information, please refer to their privacy policies and terms of use.

  • Complete a liability waiver form in connection with an event, clinic, or tournament. When you attend one of our events, we may require you to complete a waiver of liability form. By completing the waiver of liability form, you provide us identifiers (e.g., name and written signature). If you are completing a waiver of liability form on behalf of a minor with whom you are attending our event, you will also provide the name of the minor, your written signature, and your date of birth. We collect your date of birth to confirm that you are of a legal age to complete the waiver of liability form on behalf of the minor with whom you are attending our event. We collect your name and written signature to obtain your agreement to the waiver of liability as outlined on the waiver of liability form.

Comcast Spectacor may also use the personal information we collect as described in this section to comply with the law, to efficiently maintain our business, and for other limited circumstances as described in HOW WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.

  1. Information Collected From Third-Party Sources

We may receive personal information about you from the following third-party sources:

  • Auction provider. If you participate in an auction, we will receive your personal identifiers (e.g., name, email address, and telephone number) and commercial information (e.g., purchase history). We use this personal information to conduct the auction and to provide you with tailored marketing communications.

  • Concession provider. We receive your personal identifiers (e.g., name, email address, telephone number) and commercial information (purchase history) from concession providers at our venues. These providers include food, beverage, and merchandise providers. We use this personal information to improve our concessions and provide you with tailored marketing communications.

  • Venues. We may receive personal information about you from venues where our events are hosted. This personal information includes your personal identifiers (e.g., name and email address) and items purchased. We use this personal information in order to improve our services and to provide you with marketing offers that we feel may be of interest to you.

  • Learn to Play” program: If you sign up to our “Learn to Play” program through the NHL, we receive from the NHL your identifiers (e.g., name, email address, and phone number). We also receive, from the NHL your child’s identifiers (e.g., first initial, last name), clothes size, address to ship the gear and payment information. We use this information to facilitate your membership and to ship the gear. If you choose to receive marketing communications, we will use your email to send them to you. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link. We share your name, address and telephone number with the relevant rink to use for scheduling the lessons.

  • Loyalty program provider. If you are a ticket holder with us, we receive your commercial information from our loyalty program provider (e.g., purchase history on merchandise, food, and beverage) to provide you with tailored marketing communications based on your purchase history.

  • Nominations. For certain Comcast Spectacor sweepstakes and contests, we permit nominations. If you are nominated, we will receive your personal identifiers from the nominor (e.g., name, email address, and telephone number). We use this personal information to manage your nomination. We may also use this personal information to send you marketing communications that we feel may be of interest to you.

  • Social Media. If you interact with us through social networking websites, such as Facebook or Twitter, we may access such personal information as we are permitted to access in accordance with your website privacy settings. We will use this information to personalize your online experience, provide exclusive content, and send you marketing communications that we feel may be of interest to you based on your marketing preferences on those social networking websites. In addition, when you post personal information publicly on social networking websites, it may be viewable by us and other users of that site. The social networking websites are hosted by a third party, and your interactions and settings are governed by the privacy policies of the companies that provide them.

(C) Information Collected Automatically

In addition to the personal information you provide directly to use, we also collect information from you automatically as you use our Services via “cookies.” This includes the following internet or other electronic network activity information:

  • Usage information. We collect information about your visits to and interaction with our Services, such as the pages you visit, how you move around the different sections, how frequently you access them, how much time you spend on each page, what you click on while using our Services, and referring website addresses. We collect this information for analytical purposes to understand how people use our websites so that we can make them more intuitive and to conduct targeted advertising. The use of this information for analytical and advertising purposes may be considered a sale under the California Consumer Privacy Act.   • Device information. We collect information about the device that you use to access our Services, such as browser type, browser language, hardware model, operating system and your preferences. We use that information for analytical purposes, to prevent fraudulent use of the Services, to enable our Services to function properly, to provide enhanced functionality, and to diagnose server and software errors, as well as, in cases of abuse, to track and mitigate the abuse. The collection of this information for analytical purposes may be considered a sale under the California Consumer Privacy Act.   • Location information. We collect information about your location, which may be determined through your IP address for analytical purposes, to provide targeted advertising, to prevent fraudulent use of the Services, to enable our Services to function properly, to provide enhanced functionality, and to diagnose server and software errors, as well as, in cases of abuse, to track and mitigate the abuse. The collection of this information for analytical and advertising purposes may be considered a sale under the California Consumer Privacy Act.   • Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to collect information on your use of the websites and mobile applications to improve our websites and mobile applications. In order to collect this information, Google Analytics may set cookies on your browser or read cookies that are already there. Google Analytics may also receive information about you from applications you have downloaded that partner with Google. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personal information. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to our Services and mobile application or to another application which partners with Google is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and Privacy Notice. To prevent your data from being used by Google Analytics, you can download the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on and/or follow the instructions in the “YOUR INFORMATION CHOICES” section below.

  • DoubleClick. We utilize DoubleClick by Google to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to our websites and mobile applications. Each visitor to our websites and mobile applications receives a different cookie, and the information collected by the cookie is used to generate conversion statistics and allows us to see the total number of individuals who clicked on our ads. DoubleClick enables Google and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to our websites and mobile applications in addition to other websites on the Internet. Please review Google’s Privacy Notice for additional information on how Google uses the information collected. Such sharing may be deemed a sale under the California Consumer Privacy Act. To opt out of targeted advertising by Google and this sharing, you can go to Google’s ad settings or you can install the DoubleClick opt-out add-on, or follow the instructions in the “YOUR INFORMATION CHOICES” section below.

  • Facebook Pixel. We use Facebook Pixel to customize our advertising and to serve you ads on your social media based on your browsing behavior. This allows your behavior to be tracked after you have been redirected to our websites and mobile applications by clicking on the Facebook ad. Facebook Pixel stores a cookie on your device to enable us to measure the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes. We do not have access to the information collected through Facebook Pixel. However, the information collected via the Facebook Pixel is also stored and processed by Facebook. Facebook may link this information to your Facebook account and also use it for its own promotional purposes in accordance with Facebook's Data Usage Policy. Facebook Pixel also allows Facebook and its partners to show you advertisements on and outside of Facebook. Such sharing may be deemed a sale under the California Consumer Privacy Act. You can opt out of displaying Facebook ads and sharing by visiting your Facebook Ad Settings, and you can clear and control the information that third parties share with Facebook in your Off-Facebook Activity page. If you do not have a Facebook account, you can opt out of Facebook ads through the Digital Advertising Alliance. You can also follow the instructions in the “YOUR INFORMATION CHOICES” section below.

  • Google AdWords. We use Google Ads to deliver advertisements to you and to track whether you have interacted with an advertisement that we have placed elsewhere on the internet. Google Ads stores a conversion-tracking cookie on your device when you click on our advertisement. The information obtained through the cookie is used to generate statistics and allows us to see the total number of users who clicked on our advertisements. We also use Google Ads to present to users of our websites and mobile applications advertisements across the internet and within the Google advertising network based on their visits to our websites and mobile applications. HOW WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

General Sharing

Comcast Spectacor may need to make the personal information identified in this Privacy Notice available within Comcast Spectacor’s corporate family, with service providers, or with other third parties as set forth below. We also share non-personally identifiable, aggregated, and/or public information with third parties.

Within Comcast Spectacor’s Corporate Family. We may share your personal information with Comcast Spectacor subsidiaries and affiliates for legitimate business purposes, general business management, and as permitted by law. We may also share your personal information with Comcast Spectacor’s subsidiaries and affiliates for marketing purposes. If you are a California resident and wish to opt out, please follow the instructions in the “YOUR INFORMATION CHOICES” section below.

With Service Providers. We may share your personal information with our service providers that assist us in providing the Services. These service providers include our payment processors, ticketing providers, communications vendors, website providers, marketing providers, shipping providers, and ecommerce platform providers.

With Advertising Providers. For advertising purposes, we may share your personal identifiers (e.g., hashed email address), commercial information (price point of items purchased) and demographic information (e.g., gender, age) about you to generate a “lookalike audience” of prospective consumers of our Services through the Facebook, Google or other advertising platforms. This allows us to target advertisements on their network to potential consumers who appear to have shared interests or similar demographics to our existing consumers. With Third Parties. We may need to disclose your personal information to third parties, such as legal advisors, law enforcement agencies, or governmental/regulatory bodies in order to protect our legal interests and other rights, protect against fraud or other illegal activities, prevent harm, for risk management purposes, and to comply with our legal obligations.

With Partners and Venues. We may share your personal identifiers (e.g., name, email address, telephone number, and physical address) collected during a call with you or during your visit to our Box Office with our partners or the venue hosting the event for marketing purposes and to facilitate the event. If you are a California resident and wish to opt out of this sharing, please follow the instructions in the “YOUR INFORMATION CHOICES” section below. If you enter into the Learn to Play program, per your direction, we share your name, address and telephone number with the relevant rink to use for scheduling the lessons.

In the Event of a Corporate Reorganization. In the event that we enter into, or intend to enter into, a transaction that alters the structure of our business, such as a reorganization, merger, acquisition, sale, joint venture, assignment, consolidation, transfer, change of control, or other disposition of all or any portion of our business, assets or stock, we would share personal information with third parties, including the buyer or target (and their agents and advisors) for the purpose of facilitating and completing the transaction. We would also share personal information with third parties if we undergo bankruptcy or liquidation, in the course of such proceedings.

With Your Consent. Apart from the reasons identified above, we may request your permission to share your personal information for a specific purpose. We will notify you and request consent before you provide the personal information or before the personal information you have already provided is shared for such purpose. You may revoke your consent at any time.

Sharing in the Last Twelve (12) Months

For a Business Purpose. In the preceding twelve (12) months, Comcast Spectacor has disclosed the following categories of personal information for a business purpose to the following categories of third parties:

  • We have disclosed your personal identifiers, internet and other network activity information, and customer records information to service providers that perform services on our behalf. These service providers include our payment processor, ticketing provider, communications vendor, ecommerce platform provider, marketing providers, website hosting provider, and analytics providers.

  • We have disclosed your internet or other electronic network information to our IT support to detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, and to identify and repair website errors that impair functionality.

  • We have disclosed your internet or other electronic network information and location information to our IT support and data analytics provider to maintain, improve, and upgrade Comcast Spectacor websites and mobile applications.

  • We have shared your name and email address with the NHL to allow the NHL to use internally to conduct centralized surveys and comparative analyses of ticket sales and game-day experiences across all NHL member clubs.

For a Sale.

  • Comcast Spectacor uses certain analytics and advertising cookies on its websites and mobile applications. These cookies collect your internet and other electronic network activity and share it with the data analytics and advertising partners that provide them. This use of your personal information may be considered a sale under the California Consumer Privacy Act. If you are a California resident and wish to opt out of these cookies, please follow the instructions in the “YOUR INFORMATION CHOICES section below.

  • Comcast Spectacor shares your personal identifiers and commercial information with advertising partners to engage in lookalike advertising. If you are a California resident and wish you can opt out of this sharing, please follow the instructions in the “YOUR INFORMATION CHOICES” section below.

  • Comcast Spectacor shares your internet and other electronic network activity with a third-party service to match browser cookies to your mailing address. We then use another company to send special offers through the mail on our behalf. Comcast Spectacor does not receive or store this information and the third parties do not provide or sell this information to any other company or service. If you are a California resident and wish to opt out of this sharing send us an email to [email protected] with the subject “CCPA Opt-Out: Browser cookie Mailing Address Match” and provide in the email the relevant identifying information to allow us to facilitate the opt-out. You may opt out of receiving marketing emails from us by clicking the “unsubscribe” link provided with each email. Please note that we will continue to send you notifications necessary to the Services, your account, purchases, or any assistance you request.   • Comcast Spectacor shares your personal identifiers with its subsidiaries and affiliates for marketing purposes. If you are a California resident and wish to opt out of this sharing, please follow the instructions in the “YOUR INFORMATION CHOICES” section below.

  • The Overwatch League employs certain analytics and advertising cookies on Philadelphia Fusion’s Website, which is hosted by the Overwatch League. These cookies collect your internet and other electronic network activity and share it with the data analytics and advertising partners that provide them. This use of your personal information may be considered a sale under the California Consumer Privacy Act. To opt out of these cookies, please see the Overwatch League’s cookie policy.

  • The Philadelphia Flyers page on the NHL.com website uses cookies and similar technologies the placement of which is controlled by NHL.com. Please see the NHL Privacy Policy for more information and the NHL Do Not Sell page for information on how to manage your cookie choices.

  • Comcast Spectacor shares your personal identifiers for marketing purposes with certain business partners and the venues hosting events for which you purchase the tickets. If you are a California resident and wish to opt out of this sharing, please follow the instructions in the “YOUR INFORMATION CHOICES” section below.


YOUR INFORMATION CHOICES

  • Correct or View Your Information. You may access your Comcast Spectacor account to correct or view certain personal information you have provided to us and which is associated with your account.

  • Opt Out of Online Advertising. Some of the companies that provide advertising services on our Services may participate in industry-developed programs designed to provide consumers with choices about whether to receive tailored ads that are based on your online activities. To learn more and to opt out of such targeted advertising from participating companies, please visit the websites of the Network Advertising Initiative, the Digital Advertising Alliance. To successfully opt out, you must have cookies enabled in your web browser (see your browser's instructions for information on cookies and how to enable them). Your opt-out only applies to the web browser you use, so you must opt out of each web browser on each device you use. Once you opt out, if you delete your browser's saved cookies, you will need to opt out again. If you opt out, you will still see ads from NHL, but the ads will be less relevant to you and your interests.

  • Opt Out of Facebook Pixel. You can opt out of displaying Facebook ads by visiting your Facebook Ad Settings, and you can clear and control the information third parties share with Facebook in your Off-Facebook Activity page.

  • Opt Out of Google AdWords. To opt out of this sharing and targeted advertising by Google, you can go to Google’s ad settings

  • Opt Out of Double Click. To opt out of targeted advertising by Google, you can go to Google’s ad settings. You may also install the DoubleClick opt-out add-on.

  • Opt Out of Google Analytics. To prevent your data from being used by Google Analytics, you can download the Google Analytics opt-out browser.

  • Opt Out of Other Cookies. All session cookies are temporary and expire after you close your web browser. Persistent cookies can be removed by following your web browser’s directions. To disable cookies and limit the collection and use of information through them, you can set your browser to refuse cookies or indicate when a cookie is being sent. When you opt out, an opt-out cookie will be placed on your device. The opt-out cookie is browser- and device-specific and will only last until cookies are cleared from your browser or device.

  • Opt Out of Email Tracking. You can disable this tracking by blocking automatic loading of images in your email.

  • Opt Out of Marketing Communications. You may opt out of receiving marketing emails from us by clicking the “unsubscribe” link provided with each email. Please note that we will continue to send you notifications necessary to the Services, your account, purchases, or any assistance you request.
